Loving Fall TV so much- I forget to Blog about it

Hey Friends,

So most Fall TV shows have aired about 4 episodes already, and I must say most are going incredibly well.

DEXTER
I believe its prudent to start with Dexter seeing as it had the most phenomenal cliff hanger among-st most fall shows. Now, Season 6 of Dexter was with regards to the high-caliber nature of the show, and with 4 episodes into the new series, it is already better than the entire season 6 of Dexter. The Dex-Deb dynamic has seen an incredible shift that will make you itch for more as the episodes air once a week. The villain and the overall story arc has only just been birthed and we are yet to see what it will offer, but I can already see this season rivaling among-st the best Dexter had to offer i.e. Season 1, 2 and 4. I hope you are all tuning in!!
HOMELAND
Homeland is also off to a flying start this season, and considering that it swept pretty much all the important emmy's- one couldn't help but think that the show had alot of pressure to have an incredible follow-up season. Thus far, it is yet to disappoint, and Clair Danes as Carrie only seems to betting more incredible at the role. I'll be honest; I never believed for a second that Damian Lewis as "Brody" deserved the emmy for Best Lead Actor, when Jon Hamm and Bryan Cranston were in the same category, however, I have seen glimpses of his excellence in this season that definitely put him among the top drama actors currently on television. HOMELAND IS SPLENDID; If you're not a viewer, I suggest you change that immediately.
PERSON OF INTEREST
This show is not as widely known as the above 2, but definitely one of my favourite shows right now. Only in the second season, but with every episode seems to be getting better. It is a semi-procedural, and for me, it is very out of character to be enjoying such a show, but the writing and acting of this show are of a level rarely seen on television. The chemistry among the actors, particularly the lead 2 has not been accomplished by many shows. Moreover, the overarching storyline is also more interesting than the plot for every episode, which makes it feel like a never ending movie.
I strongly recommend this show for all
LAST RESORT
This is the best new show that TV has to offer. The acting and the plot are beyond this world, involving survival, conspiracy, duty and honour. This show has the potential to be ABC's new Lost ( and lets pray that by my saying that, I have not jinxed it). As it is only 4 episodes in, I won't say much, only invite anyone looking for a series to watch, to look into this.

These 4 shows are by no means the only good thing about fall TV. Below are the list of other shows that I'm currently viewing on a weekly basis and enjoying. I also would recommend these shows for those looking for new television:

  • Parks and Recreation
  • Big Bang Theory
  • The Good wife
  • 666 Park Avenue
  • Once Upon a Time
  • Fringe
  • Nikita
  • It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
  • The League
  • Scandal
  • Go on
  • Revolution
  • Castle
  • Hawaii Five O
  • American Dad
  • American Horror Story
  • Modern Family
  • How I met your Mother

  1. I'm so glad you added 'Scandal' to the list :) I'm currently watching all the episodes of ''Breaking Bad'' and when I'm done with that, I'll move on to ''Homeland''. I don't watch nearly enough drama's as I should be. Great post!
