SUITS: Suave and Sophisticated!!

Goodmorning Readers,

It's good to be back after a short break. When a warm summer break comes you're way, best thing to do is take it head on, relax, give yourself a break, even from the likes of television, which I must say was quite a task for me!!

Nonetheless, I'm back, and I'm catching up with all my favourite summer shows. As expected, the first show I got my hands on was SUITS, which to me represents the creme de la creme of summer programming. In fact, you can imagine my joy when I discovered that in the mid-season we will be expecting 6 more episodes of the second season of Suits.
** SPOILERS AHEAD**

This season introduced a new dynamic to the show, and shifted focus from Mike's gimmick and his deceptions, and decided to focus more on firm politics, which for me was particularly interesting. I mean you can only make photographic memory and a lack of a law degree interesting for so long, and I applaud how the show immediately allowed for Jessica to discover the truth about Mike in the first episode rather than dragging it out for an entire season.
JESSICA PEARSON truly was a gem this season, in her acting, her story, and her clever manipulation. Expect a lot from her in the second season.

The character Daniel Hardman was also particularly good because I'm sure everyone familiar with the operation of law firms must have been wondering about the second founding partner and what his role was in the establishment and operation of the firm. His character had a lot of potential, however the execution wasn't very great because eventually, he became a very predictable character. The casting choice however was excellent because David Costabile can play both innocent and manipulative rather well... I will however hold out hope that his return will have a much larger impact; like he said after he was ousted from Pearson Hardman: "Don't Kid yourself that this is the end of the story".. I hope he lives up to that statement!
Another performance this season that was truly inspired was that of Louis Litt. His character massively stepped up in the second season, and the fact that we all know Louis is intelligent, made it all the more sweeter because we now understand why it is so difficult for him to get screwed. Now that he is Senior Partner, I'm curious to see the dynamic he will play in the firm, and how his relationship with Harvey, Jessica and Mike will change.
"Louis Litt is a Lannister" and he always pays his debts!
Expect Decent Performances from Rachel and Donna, actually Donna's performance improves as well.. All in all the show lived up to the hype of the first season, and I eagerly await Mid Season for the last few episodes of the season.

Series Rating: 9/10.
